Right now, NatDex AG is a ladder format, and GalarDex AG is a challenge-only format. With "switch formats", do you mean these functions switch? So NatDex AG (the way it works now) would remain a format you can challenge someone in?

To avoid this problem, take the mon you want to EV train out of the first team slot and put a normal type in its place. Use Exp Share to pass EV's.
