The Pokémon is still treated as its original type(s) for damage calculation, so it's still super effective, so it still gets the boost.
  2. 7* Tera Raid Event: Tera Poison Swampert

Unless it's got Hammer Arm/Brick Break.
  3. 7* Tera Raid Event: Tera Poison Swampert

From what I remember from the Mighty Pikachu raid that actually goes both ways.
  4. (Little) Things that annoy you in Pokémon

The fact none of the Gen 9 forms except Pooper and the Tauroses have official art.

    Ah, yes.
  6. 7* Tera Raid Event: Tera Poison Swampert

Also the AI in general has a problem with recognizing type immunities on moves that change type, not just the raids.
  7. 7* Tera Raid Event: Tera Poison Swampert

The Raid AI seems to basically treat type resist berries as a resistance. Ground/Poison double resists Poison and Water Absorb makes it immune to Water, so unless it has any other attack that is unresisted, it'll still go for Earthquake against that setup.

Bulbapedia doesn't have ads when you're signed in. Also most people have ad blockers for that.

In battles outside of the post-game battle facilities? Also note that I said handheld games, the Orre games and Battle Revolution don't count. The battle facilities have their own AI and most of your later examples are from them, calling the in-game AI not being the deliberately busted frontier...

Bastiodon's his ace, he's not allowed to send it out til the other two are dead. There is no handheld Pokémon game where the AI is programmed to get around Wonder Guard laterally like that. I think the constant switching may have been the result of the AI wanting to switch to Bastiodon but the...

I mean they don't seem to actually plan out what Pokémon get in which games in relation to other ones. Porygon of all Pokémon is available in every game on the Switch.

Assuming the Stakeout Pokémon has an attack left that turn after the item or move is used/activated, yes. So only in doubles for any of those other than the Red Card.

If you really want to go in at your current level, you're probably gonna want to give Drapion the Poison Jab TM (it's on Route 212 if you don't have it) otherwise it'll learn Cross Poison at 58. I'd also say get rid of Charm on Lopunny, outside of some of Flint's Pokémon Bronzong can take...

You know Cynthia's Pokémon are in the 60s right? Garchomp is 66. Why were you even trying at 49?

They were/are never gonna split a generation across multiple consoles especially back when every game in a generation was supposed to actually be able to connect.

I mean, it shouldn't be. Plenty of types have that, it's only notable because the Steel moves with a power above 80 that aren't signatures are Iron Tail (absolutely atrocious accuracy for a move with only 100 power), Meteor Mash (only learned by like 5 Pokémon of which 3 are actually Steel)...

Correct, only if a Pokémon is switched that turn (either manually or via a move). Each hit, same as Stench, King's Rock, Twineedle, and Poison Touch.
  19. 7* Raid - Fairy Primarina - May 10-12/17-19

Just did it with some randoms online a few hours ago with Garganacl, Wide Guard spam OP. As long as your allies are steel types Primarina will just keep spamming Sparkling Aria to no effect, there was also a Cresselia using Lunar Blessing. It kept dying though since Primarina could Moonblast it.
