Ceruledge is a strong late-game sweeper on Fire teams that checks Ghost- and Psychic-types thanks to its powerful Ghost STAB, setup in Swords Dance, powerful STAB moves, and a great ability in Weak Armor, punishing physical attackers that attack it. At +2, Ceruledge 2HKOes Great Tusk and has a good chance to OHKO Gliscor after Stealth Rock damage with Poltergeist. Shadow Sneak allows Ceruledge to take out boosted albeit weakened Pokemon like Dragonite, Alolan Raichu, Iron Boulder, and opposing Ceruledge. With Focus Sash, Ceruledge ensures its Weak Armor is activated from most physical attacks and it can set up Swords Dance once. Cinderace and Torkoal are great partners, as they provide entry hazard control with Court Change and Rapid Spin respectively, so that its Focus Sash is kept intact. Additionally, Torkoal sets up sun to further boost Ceruledge's Bitter Blade thereby granting it more recovery and Stealth Rock to aid its sweeping, while Cinderace targets Dark-types such as Ting-Lu, Hydreigon, and Tyranitar which can pose challenges to Ceruledge's sweeping. Wallbreakers such as Choice Band Victini and Mega Charizard X are appreciated by Ceruledge as they remove bulky Pokemon that it dislikes. Victini takes on Water-types such as Tapu Fini, Urshifu-R, and Dondozo, while Mega Charizard X breaks past Heatran. In return, Victini appreciates Ceruledge handling Psychic-types like Iron Boulder and Mega Latias. Hisuian Arcanine revenge kills boosted sweepers such as Roaring Moon so that Ceruledge can sweep, and it can threaten Flying-types such as Galarian Moltres and Zapdos. Ceruledge can also enable other sweepers and cleaners such as Volcarona by removing Pokemon that threaten it such as Skeledirge so they can start their own sweep.

Ceruledge is a strong late-game sweeper on Fire teams that checks Ghost- and Psychic-types thanks to its powerful Ghost STAB, thanks to setup in Swords Dance, powerful STAB moves, and a great ability in Weak Armor, (AC) to punishing physical attackers that make it harder to take down attack it. Poltergeist takes out Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Skeledirge, Slowbro, and Mega Latias. [Is specifying Ghost and Psychic types really important? this seems like a statement that would go in the beginning because in comparison to its other Ghost-type STABs its used for the power to also have the damage post on neutral pokemon like a chipped Great Tusk or even a Gliscor. Bitter Blade is not only STAB, but it also grants Ceruledge recovery. [Make this line to talk about Swords Dance + Bitter blade maybe? "Bitter Blade is Ceruledge's primary Fire STAB that grants Ceruledge passive recovery"?] Shadow Sneak allows Ceruledge to take out boosted albeit weakened Pokemon like Dragonite, Alolan Raichu, and opposing Ceruledge. With Focus Sash, Ceruledge ensures its Weak Armor is activated from most physical attacks and it can set up Swords Dance once. Cinderace and Torkoal are essential partners, as they provide entry hazard control with Court Change and Rapid Spin respectively, so that its Focus Sash is kept intact. [Is this implying that Cinderace and Torkoal are must haves and glue on every fire team? I believe this specfication is too limiting for people in the tier and not fully true. I do believe Fire teams, can forgo CC Cinderace at least as there is also BU/SD sets. I don't rank Cinderace very highly but I think generationalizing this as "good teammates" is better] Additionally, Torkoal sets up sun to further boost Ceruledge's Bitter Blade thereby granting it more recovery and Stealth Rock to aid its sweeping, while Cinderace targets Dark-types such as Ting-Lu, Hydreigon, and Tyranitar which can pose challenges to Ceruledge's sweeping. Wallbreakers such as Choice Band Victini and Mega Charizard X are appreciated by Ceruledge as they remove bulky Pokemon that it dislikes. [Like what?] Victini takes on Water-types such as Tapu Fini, Urshifu-R, and Dondozo, while Mega Charizard X breaks past Heatran and Garchomp. In return, Victini appreciates Ceruledge handling bulky Psychic-types like Slowbro and Mega Latias. Hisuian Arcanine revenge kills boosted sweepers such as Mega Pinsir, Roaring Moon, and Alolan Raichu so that Ceruledge can sweep, and it can threaten Flying-types such as Galarian Moltres and Zapdos. Ceruledge can also enable other sweepers and cleaners such as Volcarona and Choice Scarf Iron Moth by removing Pokemon that threaten them such as Skeledirge so they can start their own sweep. [Remove Choice Scarf Iron Moth]

Comments: Overexplaining can lead to restrictive thinking , think about the multitude of playstyles and when you put emphasis on something like "Cinderace and Toroal are essential" it feels like a highlighter/focus point but can be restrictive and negligent on other potential playstyles
