The Spreadsheet - PLEASE READ (alongside Brazdo, Loria and Desvega)
Average Movepools by Type - Helps with creating movepools for new Pokémon.
Name: the name for your Fakemon. Subs with no name are ineligible to be voted.
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Write the names of the previous stage or counterparts of the Pokemon, if applicable. For pre-evos, also write the evolution method.
Typing: Remember to respect the rules of the ongoing slate; you may use these link for images: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png.
Ability: Ability 1 / Ability 2 | Hidden Ability
Base Stats: HP / Atk / Def / SpA / SpD / Spe (BST) you can write these in any configuration you want, the important thing is that it also fits with slate-specific and general rules. New pre-evolutions’ BST have to be lower than the original, while evolutions’ BST is usually higher; for regional or convergent forms, their BST must match.
Notable Moves: A list of competitively relevant moves; be sure that they are within the scope of being accessible. you can make a complete movepool during the discussion phase.
Height + Weight: indicate the meters and kilograms of your submission. Weight is more important due to mechanics involving weight, such as Low Kick, Heavy Metal and Float Stone.
Flavour/Design: (Required) Put down the design and any inspirations relating to your new Pokémon, their interactions within the region, and why they are found in this region.
Potential Competitive Role: (Optional) Describe the role that your Fakemon will have in the new metagame, considering previous Pokémon and potential new competitors; keep in mind that this is a flavour-based mod, so not all submissions have to be competitively viable.
Name: Name of the move; try to use combinations of words never used before in Pokémon games
Power: [Base Power of the Move, should be a multiple of 5]
Type: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png
Category: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/categories/Category.png (Physical, Special or Status)
Base Power: try to balance this, PP, effect and accuracy; only multiples of 5 are allowed as values.
Accuracy: write -- if it ignores accuracy and evasion checks; must be multiple of 5
Power Points: specify just the max PP if you want; allowed values are 1, 8, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64.
Effect: What the move does. Can be a secondary effect or an inherent effect like Throat Chop's. Also include whether or not the move is a spread move Note that custom elements are allowed, as long as they are distinct from already existing abilities/moves introduced as of Gen IX and/or Desvega, and are relatively simple to code (Which means no more custom field effects, we just introduced a new terrain in Desvega. Also, if you think it's codable but the coding team disagrees, then you'd better be prepared to code it yourself if it wins.)
Priority: (Optional) The priority bracket of the move. Unless specified, it is assumed to have the standard priority of 0.
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): [Specify which flags the move has. A full list can be found in the spreadsheet, listed above.]
Distribution: Specify if the move is exclusive to a particular evolutionary line; otherwise, list the criteria of Pokémon that are eligible to receive the submitted move.
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing move, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. Note that any changes you propose will carry to the Ability you suggested only, not to any similar Moves. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Move introduced in any Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.
Name: avoid using a name too similar-sounding of existing Abilities.
Effect: While custom elements are allowed, as long as they are distinct from already existing abilities/moves introduced as of Gen IX and/or Desvega, and are relatively simple to code (Which means no more custom field effects, we just introduced a new terrain. Also, if you think it's codable but the coding team disagrees, then you'd better be prepared to code it yourself if it wins.)
Permanent (Yes or No): [Specify whether or not the ability can't be suppressed, Skill Swapped, or copied]
Ignorable (Yes or No): [Specify whether or not the ability is ignored by Mold Breaker]
Distribution: Specify if the Ability is exclusive to a particular evolutionary line; otherwise, list the criteria of Pokémon that are eligible to receive the submitted ability.
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing Ability, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. Note that any changes you propose will carry to the Ability you suggested only, not to any similar Abilities. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Ability introduced in any Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.
Name: [Name of the Pokémon]
Type: For mono-type Pokemon, you may add or change the current type to another type, not both. For dual-type Pokemon, one of their original types must remain.
Abilities
: For Pokemon with two Abilities, you may add another. For Pokemon with three, you are permitted to swap out one of their existing abilities
Moves: [Up to four moves may be added and removed]
Justification: [Explain in detail why these changes should be added, both competitive AND flavour wise. Lack of either will disqualify the adjustment from being slated]

We will begin on the 2nd of June, so get ready and polish your subs - starting with regions to be!

Slate 1 - The Journey starts again

{Region and Box Legendaries}

:SV/Mewtwo-Mega-X: :SV/Rayquaza-Mega: :SV/Mewtwo-Mega-Y:

As our first slate, your task is to create a Pokémon Region as our “blueprint” and locale to base on for our potential new Pokémon ideas. While specific real-life locations are recommended to assist others in searching inspiration for upcoming slates as well as raising awareness of under-explored cultures, you are also entirely within your rights to create an entirely fantastical region, though note that you will have to prepare extra detail and decide on a uniting theme.

Rules:
- The real-life locales that were already used in the mainline games, specifically Japan (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh/Hisui & Kitakami), New York (Unova), Northern France (Kalos), Hawaii (Alola), United Kingdom (Galar) and the Iberian Peninsula (Paldea), as well as those of our three previous iterations, specifically Brazil (Brazdo), Florida (Loria) and California+Nevada (Desvega) are not allowed to subbed to allow other real-life locales to have a chance to shine. Any sub that features a locale listed above in bold will be vetoed.

Name: Provide a name for your region.
Inspiration: The area of the real world the region is inspired by. If your region isn't based on the real world, be sure to provide a map of your own.
Insert your map here

Lore: Explain what is the history of this region and what role the legendaries have or had in it, and also what is happening at the time of the game.
Additional Information: What aspects of the region’s real-life counterpart (culture, fauna, flora, history, mythology) can be turned into Pokemon?

In addition, each region submission must have a set of Legendary Pokémon in pairs or threes, whether they be otherworldly visitors who've stumbled into the region with power incomparable to the locals or powerful deities that helped shaped the region's history.

Rules:
- Each component of the main legendary duo / trio must have a Base Stat Total between 660 and 680; anything with BST lower or higher will not be accepted. In addition, they are permitted to have one signature Ability and/or move.
- That said, they can have an alternate form, which increases their BST by up to an additional 100 points, adds or changes one type, and grants access to one (optionally) exclusive Ability and/or move. In the case of a duo, if one of the two box-arts have an altered form, the other one must also have it too; in the case of a trio, you are permitted to only give the third legendary one.
- To keep our boxarts from spiralling out of control, their power tier should be intended for Ubers UU - Ubers.
- The submissions cannot be cross-generational evolutions, pre-evolutions, regional or convergent forms; those will not be allowed until the Early Route slate. Any of those will be automatically rejected.
Name: Name of the Pokémon (Etymology)
Counterpart(s): if this is a mascot, write the name of the other one, if this is the third Legendary, write both the names of the mascots.
Typing: You can use these link for images: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png.
Abilities: Ability 1 | Hidden Ability (Optional)
Base Stats: HP / Atk / Def / SpA / SpD / Spe (BST)
Notable Moves: Give a list of moves that this Pokémon will learn, both competitive and flavor moves, though the former is more important. Once your submission is voted in, you will create a full movepool for it in the discussion phase after the second slate.
Flavor/Design (Required): Describe the lore/flavor/design of your Pokémon. For trios: What's the role of this component? Is it the trio master or is it a rival against the duo mascots? What are their relationships like?
Potential Competitive Role (Optional): You may describe the role that your Pokemon will have in the new metagame.

Name: Indux
Inspiration: India
Lore:
Ah, Indux. The region mentioned back in Gen I where Raichu and Gastly were both mentioned to be potent against its pachyderms. As a matter of fact, this is where the Cufant line hails from, though it may not necessarily be the same elephants. Also this region has had a bit of conflict with Galar before. While certain parts are polluted hellscapes, there are reserves where Pokémon are growing greater and healthier than ever.
It is said to have been technologically at its zenith so long ago that those days would still be considered ancient even by the time a certain Kalosian king developed a certain ultimate weapon, and the Indux of now still has yet to catch up. (though that being said chances are it will… eventually) Two Pokémon spoken of from way back then are the Polluted Gatherer and the Atrophied Dissipator, known as the Accumulation Duo. Which is to say, the box legends. Both are extremely ancient, yet cannot remember what things were like even a century ago. Could they really be the same mons as the ones from back then in that case…?
Over the centuries, the box legends have cleaned up after Indux’s population, yet the people have gone on to take it for granted and now one is contaminated and polluted and the other exerted too much of its power. Because pollution has been piling up without the legends in peak condition to deal with it, the organization responsible for most of the pollution had decided to seek out one of them… if only for brownie points since going the extra mile seems a bit much for them. You show up during their search and intervene with their morally-dubious-at-best plots, and this mysterious Pokémon that is totally and absolutely the other box legend has a hand (or smog vent/paw) in foiling some of these plans too, though eventually the villains have you and your rival backed into a corner as they take that legend and put you against it while the rival holds off the other antagonists. This box legend goes from the weakened to the more powerful form mid-battle, but does not count as an in-battle form change afterwards. Then your rival loses with the box legend is weakened for the villains to capture… But in a rage the legend storms out, eventually leading you all to the ruins of Ancient Indux, a city that was as hi-tech as it got yet collapsed from excessive reliance on a certain serpent and tiger duo and apathy towards its own responsibility in cleaning up. They revolutionized their own energy and even discovered three suspiciously familiar Pokémon to those familiar with Loria, though those three were last sighted in that region. You stumble upon the two legends, with the one that hasn’t been working with you dormant for a mild nap after returning earlier in the day in its weakened form. Then it attacks you and your rival and after the villain captures it, they decide to see which legend is better at cleaning up. This results in a battle with that legend’s empowered form. The other one decides to battle and lets the rival command it. The rival rejects the aid at first due to demoralization over constantly losing to you, but ultimately lets that box legend fight on their behalf, even if it means going up against its best friend. Through some sleight of hand while the villain is distracted, YOU now have the box legend. It doesn’t know you, but considers better than the alternative at least. Now you both use your respective box legends on the main villain-A relatively easy one even by main villain standards, but it’ll be oh-so-satisfying. Then after you hand off the villain, your legend’s counterpart convinces it to look forward to your next and final rematch with the rival, to which it eventually agrees. You then bond more with your new buddy and eventually defeat your rival once more. But this time, they accept it in stride. Now word is probably getting around that putting all cleanup on two mons is probably a bad idea. The Indux of old may be a tall order, but with our current understanding the Indux of a distant tomorrow might go on to shine far better and brighter in its achievements.

Name: Syrpsaira (Serpent + Cycle + Samsara)
Counterpart: Dhiirojual
Syrpsaira has two forms: The Polluted form is the base, and the Cyclic Cleanser, once given to it, changes it to the Cleansed form.
Polluted:

Cleansed (would probably be more shrouded in steam but now it's not sick anymore):
1717801162144.png
Typing:
Polluted (Base):

Cleansed (Give it the Cyclic Cleanser):

Abilities:
Polluted: Neutralizing Gas
Cleansed: Cleansed Gatherer
Base Stats:
Polluted: 130 / 120 / 100 / 140 / 85 / 85 (660)
Cleansed: 130 / 120 / 100 / 160 / 115 / 105 (730)
Notable Moves: Gunk Shot, Dragon Tail, Dragon Pulse, Toxic, Earth Power, Earthquake, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Scorching Sands, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Glare, Stone Edge, Strange Steam, Clear Smog, Coil, Recycle, Poison Terrain, Scale Shot, Fire Fang, Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Dazzling Gleam, (Polluted only) Oil Slick, (Cleansed only) Cyclic Decontamination
Height + Weight: 6.3m / 256kg
Returning Features: Rototiller keeps its Desvega effects of doubling the boost if Grassy Terrain is active. Oil Slick and Toxic Shock return from Desvega.
New Features:
Cyclic Decontamination: Fairy, 95BP, Special, 5PP, 100% accurate. If it hits a statused target it cures both its status and the user’s but hits a second time. Has no flags. Exclusive to Cleansed Syrpsaira.
Cleansed Gatherer: Exclusive to Cleansed Syrpsaira. On switch-in, if switching in on Toxic Spikes or Spikes, ignore their effects and consume them instead to respectively set up Misty Terrain and Sandstorm. Cannot be skill swapped or otherwise copied.
Flavour/Design: Symbolic of huge changes eventually cycling back near square one and the return to the source, as well as cycles in general; basically Ouroboros and Samsaras. Syrpsaira is a serpent covered in countless stripes of countless colors and countless patterns, each stripe bearing holes that spew out smog. While while it has been around for a VERY long time, in practice its lifespan is only a century at most, with death being followed by a new Syrpsaira starting with the previous’s lifeless, headless husk as a shell, which merges into its body as rugged, yet dull stripes. It has gone for ages without remembering what it was like during the collapse of Ancient Indux, as the memories of its past lives are buried under the tightest lock and key. It has a habit of biting into its tail to reinvigorate itself by tapping into the power of itself from the distant past, but no matter how hard it may try it cannot reawaken its memories on its own…
Yet it expels smog solely because it is overwhelmed. After proper care, it finally completely cleanses itself and recalls its lives of old with its bites. Instead of toxic smog, it emanates an invigorating steam and the once-dull stripes are now bright and vibrant. While it needs the Cyclic Cleanser to purge out all the pollution, if the time comes for it to go back into its polluted form it would trust your judgement.
Potential Competitive Role: We should count our blessings it doesn't get DDance. Holy type combos, holy statlines, holy Scale Shot. Base I could see being a decent Coil sweeper but cleansed is in an... interesting spot. Utterly bonkers type combo and statline but in a hypothetical meta with Xerneas it might face competition as your Fairy-type attacker of choice. Still, so long as Ubers can handle the base form I wouldn't mind whether the Cleansed form stays or goes.
:torracat::lycanroc-dusk::gastly::carbink:
Name: Dhiirojual (Dhiire/slow in Hindi + Erosion + Gradual)
Counterpart: Syrpsaira
Dhiirojual has two forms: The Atrophied form is the base, and the Undispersing Nourishment, once given to it, changes it to the Replenished form.
(art will be here SOON-)
Typing:
Atrophied (Base):

Replenished (Give it the Undispersing Nourishment):

Ability:
Atrophied: Corrosion
Replenished: Replenished Dissipator
Base Stats:
Atrophied: 130 / 140 / 85 / 120 / 100 / 85 (660)
Replenished: 130 / 160 / 115 / 120 / 100 / 105 (730)
Notable Moves: Poison Fang, Will-O-Wisp, Toxic, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Shadow Ball, Drain Fang, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Rototiller, Toxic Shock, Fake Out, Assist, Scorching Sands, Crunch, Ice Fang, Dark Pulse, Bush Claws, Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock, Cripple Clobber, Hex, (Decayed Only) Acid Spray, (Replenished Only) Dispersal Fang
Height + Weight: 3.2m / 333.2kg
Returning Features: Drain Fang and Bush Claws return from Brazdo. Cripple Clobber returns from Loria. Poison Terrain and Toxic Shock return from Desvega. Rototiller keeps its doubled boost on Grassy Terrain from Desvega.
New Features:
Dispersal Fang: Rock, 95BP, Physical, 5PP, 100% accurate. If it hits a statused target it cures both the user’s and target’s statuses but inflicts -1 to Atk/Def/SpA/SpD/Spe on the target. Contact and bite. Exclusive to Replenished Dhiirojual.
Replenished Dissipator: Exclusive to Replenished Dhiirojual. On switch-in, if switching in on Toxic Spikes or Stealth Rock, ignore their effects and consume them instead to respectively set up Poison Terrain and Sandstorm. Cannot be skill swapped or otherwise copied.
Flavour/Design: Symbolic of extremely small changes building up and how erosion affects… everything. This is basically a huge tiger covered with a thin layer of tan dust and dark purple, smoking stripes. While a century is but a drop in the ocean of its lifespan, it cannot remember things from that long ago, as any traces on Dhiirojual of whatever it may experience are blown away to the sands of time. Its bite and claws are known to liquefy whatever faces the business end of them, yet it itself seems badly deteriorated.

Let it regain its true strength and the tiger manifests a much more complete form, with a thinner dust layer and crystalline stripes. Anything it liquefies with its power does not liquefy for long, as it swiftly crumbles into dust afterward. While it wants to hold onto the Undispersing Nourishment to keep its form, it understands if there are applications to its base form and trusts your judgement.

Potential Competitive Role: Stat stick in base form, could be tested to see if it would fit in OU but it's likely getting tossed in Uber (or at least Uber UU). Replenished is a decently bulky mon that can capitalize on TSpikes and utterly debilitate statused targets, but only once.

Lore: basically the region is split inbetween two sides and ideals, following the box legends. And throughout the region you can see either conflict or unity in between the two. It is your choice to support either in their goals, or to seek a different path.
Box Legends:
Name: Inddrasil, the Stagnant Pokemon (Inert + Yggdrasil)
Counterpart(s): Aginarok
Typing:

Abilities: Vitality (user heals 1/8th at end of turn)
Base Stats: 100 HP / 100 Atk / 140 Def / 140 SpA / 100 SpD / 100 Spe (680 BST)
Notable Moves: True Stillness, Energy Ball, Recover, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Meteor Beam, Stone Edge, Power Whip, Leech Seed
80bp 8pp special rock move traps opponent

Flavor/Design (Required): The figurehead of the first half of the region that wishes for the world to stay the same as it has always been, and is a stagnant being, unwilling to change its principles but willing to protect the world from danger. People who follow inddrasil believe technology is unnecessary, instead it is important to focus on striving to find oneself. They also believe that they are constantly in a perfect state of being, and adding anything else to their lives would ruin the balance that has existed for them.
Potential Competitive Role (Optional): relegated brokemon

Name: Aginarok, the Progress Pokemon (Agitated + Ragnarok)
Counterpart(s): Inddrasil
Typing:

Abilities: Decimation (Deals 1/8th Damage at the end of the turn to all other Pokemon than itself)
Base Stats: 100 HP / 140 Atk / 100 Def / 100 100 SpA / 140 SpD / 100 Spe (680 BST)
Notable Moves: Steel Legendary Move, Flare Blitz, Heavy Slam, Will-o-Wisp, Stone Edge, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Work Up, Spikes, Autonomize, Trailblaze
80bp, 8pp steel switches out the user

Flavor/Design (Required): The second half of the region believe in Aginarok, and its ability to remake the world into a better place. The followers of Aginarok believe in progress and technological advancement to replace old traditions and methods that have existed, but are ineffective. They believe in optimization and only preform in the most efficient ways.
Potential Competitive Role (Optional): Relegated brokemon

Name: Nihilgagap, the Balance Pokemon (Nihilty + Ginnuagagap)
Counterpart(s): Inndrasil, Aginarok
Typing:

Abilities: Balance / Form of the Void
This Pokemon receives no damage from super effective hits

Changes type to ??? On entry. Gains a 1.2x damage boost on non stab moves.

Base Stats: 100 HP / 120 Atk / 120 Def / 120 SpA / 120 SpD / 100 Spe (680 BST)
Notable Moves: True Void, Earthquake, Surf, Hydro Pump, Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Stealth Rock
??? Type move, 8pp special attack. Becomes physical if the users attack is higher than its special attack. This move always deals super effective damage

Flavor/Design (Required): First seen as the third path, in between the two extremes of inndrasil and aginarok, people flocked to follow a balance in between the two, only realizing after that the true goal of this is to return everything to an endless void, avoiding conflict.
Potential Competitive Role (Optional): Relegated brokemon

Additional Information: basically most mythical creatures come from Norse/germanic mythos, think dragons, dwarves, elves and trolls. Very fantasy styled so living plants and living objects are another basing, anything remotely magical tbh

Name: Jiaquo [Jia | 家 (Chinese for Family) + Quo/Quojia 國家 (Chinese for Country); literally can mean family country]
Inspiration: China, Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mongolia.
dulOAqLKTa6MXG5CdcnNukcD5XLGTGc-b5wktBQuggZxB9HVd_RJ3tlHjyayV4uDCtKkf_Oi7HdPrBBs2yzsicHEs0wX2EZCXVzOK-zugFx-bAfHcW9ucJ14aFZh.png
Lore: Said to be one of the first known human civilisations, Jiaquoese people are often said to care for nothing but the prestige of their families, and will do anything to advance them above the rest. Territories disputes were common, talks of great conquests were common, and the rise and fall of many, many dynasties have become nothing but mere footnotes in history. Simply put, the land was so rife with strife that even the Pokémon were war torn territorial skirmishers, the legendaries in particular being otherworldly warmongers whose influence can still be felt today.
Today, the region has, more or less, begun settling into an uneasy ceasefire, prompted by the growing prosperity of other regions and an influx of foreigners. But the spirits of great warlords live on - their will to battle will never yield but perhaps, one day, someone will rise up to unite the region…
...will that be you?
Additional Information:
No, if this region is chosen, you don't need to give your subs names like the Treasures of Ruin. Anyways, there are way too many things from China or at least Chinese-based you can pull for inspiration, I'll share some of my own ideas:
  • Chinese mythology (I expect at least twelve Pokemon lines relating to an animal of the Chinese Zodiac)
  • Chinese literature: ex. Journey to the West
  • Chinese Cuisine: ex, Dim sum, Tofu, Rice.
  • Chinese technology: gunpowder, paper
  • There could be Galarian influence to parallel Hong Kong's history as a British colony help us, the Mainland is a very abusive parent
  • Fossils will be plentiful to reference China's abundance.
  • Genetically modified hybrids based on the infamous China cloning humans incident, Pokemon fusions go brrr.
  • Among the possible returning Pokemon include both varieties of Arcanine, Gyarados, Absol, Altaria, Mienshao, Pangoro, Turtonator, Drampa, Polteageist, Urshifu, and, obviously, the Treasures of Ruin.
Name: Drazenshen (Dragon + Zen + Ascent + Shen | 神 [Chinese for god])
Type: Dragon/Rock
Ability: Primal Authority | Aura Break
Stats: 90/130/95/120/95/140 (670)
Notable Moves: Scale Shot, Dragon Tail, Outrage, Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Rock Slide, Diamond Storm, Head Smash, Ancient Power, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Sandstorm, Stealth Rock, Psyshock, Psychic, Future Sight, Calm Mind, Light Screen, Reflect, Extreme Speed, Super Fang, Hyper Voice, Boomburst, Nature Power, Revival Blessing, Acrobatics, Fly, Dragon Ascent, Air Slash, Hurricane, Defog, Tailwind, Drain Fang, Phantom Force, Poltergeist, Shadow Ball, Heat Wave, Sunny Day, Will-O-Wisp, Waterfall, Scald, Surf, Rain Dance, Power Whip, Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Solar Beam, Grass Knot, Coil
Height + Weight: 10.8 m + 392 kg
Flavor/Design: According to legend, the 'Original Emperor' emerged from the crevices of the Earth to command forces of nature and bring forth the first Dynasty of Jiaquo, ushering in an era where the lands were abundant and fruitful while the living could live with the dead in harmony. A statue of what the 'Original Emperor' supposedly looked like can be found at the Pokemon League, its petrified glaze seemingly judging the souls of those who seek the title of Champion, waiting for the emergence of a hero...
Based on the Jade Emperor, the Yellow Dragon as well as shades of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China who, among his accomplishments, included the Terracotta Army, hence the Rock-type. Its Dragon-Type, while obvious because of the abundance of Dragon-type Legendaries, was chosen because it was one of the more prevalent types until Gen VI. Its Ability is a call-back to Primal Reversion, while its title as the "Original Emperor" refers to the Original Dragon of the Tao Trio fame; it might be the original, or perhaps a related species.
Effect: When any weather and/or terrain is active or if the Pokemon is holding the Jade Orb, its highest stat (other than HP and taking into account stat stages, but not held items) is increased by 30%, or 50% if Speed is the highest stat. Upon activation through weather and/or terrain, the message "The [weather | Terrain] heralds the Drazenshen's Primal Authority!" followed by "Drazenshen's [Increased Stat] is heightened under its Primal Authority!" is broadcasted to all the players. If multiple stats are tied for highest, Primal Authority breaks the tie by prioritising Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed, in that order.
Permanent: Yes
Ignorable: No
Distribution: Exclusive to Drazenshen.
Effect: If held by a Drazenshen with the Ability Primal Authority when no weather or terrains are active, Jade Orb activates the Pokémon's Ability, notified by the message "Drazenshen's Jade Orb hereby solidifies its Primal Authority!" to all players. It also restores 1/8th of the holder's maximum HP (rounded down, but not less than 1) at the end of each turn, unless the holder is under the effects of Heal Block.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes, unless the holder is Drazenshen.
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): No
Fling Power & Effect: 130, cures the target of all non-volatile status conditions. Fails if held by Drazenshen.
Name: Hizudiac [Hisui + Zud (Mongolian phenomenon where livestock die) + Zodiac]
Type: Psychic/Fighting
Ability: Beastly Authority | Aura Break
Stats: 151/83/103/97/127/109 (670)
Notable Moves: Zen Headbutt, Stored Power, Mystical Power, Psyshock, Psychic, Psystrike, Cosmic Power, Gravity, Imprison, Instruct, Trick, Drain Punch, Body Press, Close Combat, Low Kick, Focus Blast, Bulk Up, Smack Down, Stone Edge, Ancient Power, Power Gem, Foul Play, Nasty Plot, Snatch, Taunt, Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Spirit Break, Dazzling Gleam, Light of Ruin, Bulldoze, Dig, Land’s Wrath, Acrobatics, Chatter, Ice Punch, Triple Axel, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Thunder Punch, Wild Charge, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Thunder
Height + Weight: 2.8 m + 330.0 kg
Flavor/Design: According to legend, the 'conqueror of worlds' fell from a rift in the sky to bring forth a bloody Dynasty of Jiaquo, built on the backs of the enslaved that established Jiaquo’s massive territory in the modern day. Rumours speak of a giant reminiscent of the 'conqueror of worlds' who wanders the region, grieving for "The Pokémon… The flower Pokémon that was given eternal life…"
Based on warlords, which China and Mongolia had way too many to draw on specifics, that explain its Fighting-Type. Its Psychic-Type, loosely explained as a connection with Buddhism, was chosen because of Psychic's dominance in Gen I. Put together, you may also notice that it fears death, or more specifically Ghost-types. Anyone else reminded of a certain Kalosian wanderer? Its Ability and history also calls back to the fallers and Ultra Beasts of Gen VII, and perhaps the slightly controversial concept of humans maybe being related to Pokemon. Or maybe that was the norm in Hizudiac's home universe.
Effect: Boosts the Pokemon's highest stat (other than HP, does not take into account stat stages, held items, or reductions due to status conditions; however, it does consider the effects of Power Split, Guard Split, Power Trick, Wonder Room, and Speed Swap.) by one stage each time another Pokémon (including allies) faints as the direct result of being knocked out by the execution of a damaging move. If multiple stats are tied for highest, Beastly Authority breaks the tie by prioritising Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed, in that order.
Permanent: Yes
Ignorable: No
Distribution: Exclusive to Hizudiac.
Effect: In addition to its previous effects of inverting the Abilities Fairy Aura and Dark Aura, Aura Break now also grants the Pokemon an immunity to aura and pulse moves. This even prevents being healed by an ally's Heal Pulse.
Permanent: No
Ignorable: Yes
Distribution: Zygarde, Drazenshen, Hizudiac.
Justification: Aura Break should have provided the immunity from the start in my opinion. If Zygarde somehow comes into Jiaquo, it'd still probably want Power Construct.

Name: Petrevival
Universal?: Yes, with Signatures
Flavor: A lost legend states that the 'Original Emperor' once, at the request of those who would willing to sacrifice all they held dear, could bring the dead back to life. The 'conqueror of worlds', being the first it encountered who lacked a conscience, attempted to use the 'Original Emperor' to create an army of the undead, to horrific results that can still be seen occasionally in the modern day as the Alpha Pokemon.
Effect: When the holder faints due to being hit by a damaging move, provided there is at least one fainted Pokémon in the party, the Sacred Blessing is consumed, and allows the player to select a fainted Pokémon in the party; the selected Pokémon will be revived and have its HP and PP fully restored. Certain Pokemon, through Petrevival, may also undergo a change in appearance, gaining access to a different type, exclusive move and/or Ability. The Sacred Blessing will only consumed provided there is at least one fainted Pokémon in the party.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 30, reverses all stat stage changes on the target Pokémon, making positive changes negative and vice versa.
Justification: Revival Blessing go brrr. No but seriously, it does have some notable drawbacks. One, the Sacred Blessing is not like a Mega Stone or Z-Crystal: Thief and Covet will steal it, Knock Off will remove it and cause extra damage, Trick, Switcheroo, Fling, and Bestow will not fail, and Symbiosis will activate. Embargo, Magic Room, and Klutz also prevent the usage of Sacred Blessing. Two, you can't do a suicidal Explosion or Memento route, the opponent has to knock you out in order for the Sacred Blessing to be consumable. Three, no point trying to lead with one holding it, you don't get to revive the holder unless you have another Pokemon holding a Sacred Blessing that is also knocked out, and considering it holds no direct competitive enhancement otherwise, is probably a risky play.
Regarding Petrevival Forms, while they do not get an increase in BST (We're not in Johto, lol, Ho-oh's the one who recklessly paid extra interest) their stats are redistributed. For gameplay balancing reasons, the most points you can redistribute from one stat to another is 50 points (subject to change). They may also gain a new type combo, either mildly (say, an Ice-type Petreviving into a Water-type) or drastically (say, a Grass/Flying type Petreviving into a Fire/Ground type) as well as exclusive moves and/or Abilities upon Petrevival.

This is my Roman Empire
Inspiration: Sections of the Roman Empire, including Italy, Greece, Western Turkey, and Northern Egypt (Still takes place in modern era). Region name is based on the word Calamentum, which is Latin for ‘dead wood’ (golly! Wonder why I went with that)
Lore:
In the Southeast was a library of great knowledge, that when destroyed devastated the region and the world.

In the Northwest, a catastrophe that shook the region but ended up bringing inspiration there and beyond

In the west, depending on the game, an oppressive group known as team Infinite attempts to reawaken one of the two former landmarks, seeking an eternal growth through destruction. (Yes the evil team is based off of Italian fascists)

The south consists of three islands, often called the three brothers, after the Pokémon from the North that were said to create each one
IMG_2406.jpeg

Gray dots: potential major city locations, based on populous areas in real life (from top left to bottom right, going right then down, Milan, Rome, Istanbul, Athens, Ankara, and Cairo)
Black dots: Legendary locations, with Mount Vesuvius on the top left and (what’s left of) the Library of Alexandria on the bottom right
Brown line: artifical bridge connecting eastern Italy area and western Greece area by land
Colorful dots/islands: new island locations and sizes

Aulbaltus: The Lost Knowledge Pokémon
Name Origin: Au (symbol for gold) + Owl + Alba (barn owl’s species name is Tyto Alba) + Altus (Latin for great)
Type: Psychic/Steel
Ability
: Trace, Levitate
Stats: 100 HP / 130 Atk / 90 Def / 105 SpA / 110 SpD / 135 Spe (670 BST)
Notable Moves: Psychic Fangs, Psycho Cut, Esper Wing, Iron Head, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Claw, Poltergeist, Sacred Sword, U-Turn, Teleport, Swords Dance, Defog
Height: 14.5 ft
Weight: 48 lbs
Description: Originally the keeper and curator of the now fallen Grand Library, Aulbaltus’ body was originally comprised exclusively of all the ancient texts it managed to save. However, as that knowledge was forgotten, some of those papers began to fade away. It was once said that if any paper is offered up to the Grand Library Ruins, it would become part of Aulbaltus’ body. This story eventually turned into the idea that if you offer it money, it will take it into its body. So along with patching up holes in its body with dollars, this Pokémon is constantly surrounded by coins. It’s general shape, despite all of that, is that of a barn owl. It’s based off of the Library of Alexandria and Wan Shi Tong, the owl-like guardian of the Spirit Library from Avatar: the last airbender.
This form is only attained while this Pokémon is holding the Time Accelerator.
Type: Ghost / Steel
Ability
: Mind Reaper
Mind Reaper
: When this Pokémon defeats another Pokémon, that Pokémon’s ability becomes a part of the Mind Reaper ability until this Pokémon switches out or faints.
Stats: 100 HP / 145 Atk / 125 Def / 105 SpA / 110 SpD / 135 Spe (720 BST)
Height: 16 ft
Weight: 444 lbs
Description: Aulbaltus’ exposure to accelerated time allows us to see what it will look like in another era. In the distant future, the knowledge that this Pokémon managed to salvage will be fully forgotten, and with that forgotten knowledge brings the loss of the ancient texts that took up most of its body. With nothing left to it’s physical form but money, Aulbaltus’ outer body becomes a fully gold, incredibly sharp form that would seem like a statue if it wasn’t so fucking fast. But through the gold lies this Pokémon’s original soul, a soul that has become so desperate for knowledge that it will do anything for it, win anything for it, hurt anything for it. In its pursuit for knowledge, Aulbaltus may possess the power to threaten the very race that originally gave the knowledge to it.

Montamors: The Sleeping Catalyst Pokémon
Name Origin: Monta (Latin for Mountains) + Mors (Roman God of Death, Thanatos in Greek mythology)
Type: Rock/Dark
Ability
: Mold Breaker, Comatose
Stats: 120 HP / 100 Atk / 155 Def / 100 SpA / 120 SpD / 75 SpA (670 BST)
Notable Moves: Power Gem, Ancient Power, Stone Edge, Dark Pulse, Knock Off, Throat Chop, Body Press, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Eruption, Heat Crash, Heavy Slam, Energy Ball, Will-O-Wisp, Bulk Up, Calm Mind
Height: 42 ft
Weight: 799 lbs
Description: This Pokémon lies at the peak of the Calamen region’s tallest mountain. It is known that while technically awake, Montamors has been in a trance-like state for an undetermined yet long amount of time. Nobody knows what it looks like when awake, but the last time it was recorded that it did, it threatened to destroy the entire region. Its appearance is that of a giant sleeping golem, with an aura that warns people there’s something sinister beneath its surface. Based off of golems, titans, and Mount Vesuvius.
This form is only attained while this Pokémon is holding the Energy Accelerator
Type: Rock / Fire
Ability
: Zero Reactor
Zero Reactor
: When this Pokémon defeats another Pokémon, all abilities become nullified until this Pokémon faints or switches out.
Stats: 120 HP / 100 Atk / 125 Def / 150 SpA / 130 Def / 95 Spe (720 BST)
Height: 13 feet
Weight: 666 lbs
Description: When exposed to a device that accelerates the energy it can gather, we learn that the body of Montamors that we normally see is nothing more than a hollow shell. A shell built to contain something. Montamors’ true, unbound, and awakened form does away with all the foreboding energy; the danger is right in front of you. A golem of constantly melting and cooling igneous rock, reacting at such a speed and intensity that it can cause the very air around it to burn up and even explode. If you see this form, you’re in the mountain, and it’s a goddamn steep climb out.
I should probably also mention the custom items/region gimmick for next slate here so…
Accelerators, similar to Mega Stones in general function, show what a Pokémon would look like if a major factor was changed about it. Time Accelerators will bring a Pokémon’s physical form forward or back in time, typically across many generations either way, to present how that Pokémon may have once adapted to the past or will adapt to the future, kind of like how Paradox Pokémon work, but more grounded in concepts of history and niche fulfillment. Energy Accelerators will drastically increase or reduce one energy level of a Pokémon, based on the scientific forms of energy, such as heat, light, mechanical, chemical, sound, and so on. Flavor aside, a Pokémon holding an accelerator that it has an accelerated form for will gain the following changes: +50 to its BST total, a change to one of its types (no more and no less), and an ability that it can’t get in its base form.

Name: Kersei
Inspiration: Jersey Shore, Pine Barrens (Physical inspiration). Jersey Shore, Pine Barrens, New Jersey in general, Eastern Pennsylvania (Including Philadelphia) (Possible Pokemon Inspiration)

Lore: The legendaries represent the two "seasons" of life in shore towns. The "On" season is the summer, when everything is open and everyone goes on vacation. The "Off" season is basically everywhere else. It's comparatively empty (though people do live in these shore towns full time) and most businesses are closed except for necessities and a few shoretime staples that people go for year-round. If this were a game, this would be where the Gen V mechanic of Seasons would make its return. Seasons would dictate where gyms would be (some gyms might move during the Off-Season, and vice versa) and the gyms would be able to be visited in any order like in ScarVi. The region is known for its boardwalks, beaches, and natural parks, and also has a huge paleontology scene. There probably wouldn't be an evil team in here, just a focus on the weird fluxes of activity in a community that result from being a seasonal destination.

Probably a lot of returning Unova mons due to New Jersey's proximity to New York.

My baby is old enough for a Legends-series game, I'm so proud.

Name: Acardia (from Arcadia and "a-kardia", i.e. "no-heart" in ancient greek)
Inspiration: After Earth, Interstellar, Horizon - The main character is a dedicated member of a team of spatial cadets sent from humanity's new home planet to explore the Acardia region, a three-island archipelago on Earth. Their primary mission is to catalog all the Pokémon species now inhabiting the islands and trace their evolutionary paths back to the time when humans last lived on Earth. By studying these evolved Pokémon, the main character aims to uncover the secrets of their development and understand how the environment has changed in the millennia since humanity's departure. This crucial research will help humanity reestablish a harmonious coexistence with Pokémon and pave the way for recolonizing their ancestral home.

made with Inkarnate
Lore:
"There was a time, in an ancient past, when Pokémon and humans used to live happily together in harmony. But as centuries passed, Pokémon evolved to become immensely powerful, and the balance between them and humans began to falter. Natural disasters triggered by these potent creatures became frequent and catastrophic, leading to a period of great turmoil. Humanity, unable to withstand the constant threat, made the difficult decision to abandon Earth and seek refuge among the stars.

Three thousand years have passed since that exodus. Humanity has thrived on distant worlds, but the memories of Earth have not faded. The yearning to return home has grown stronger with each generation. Now, with advanced technology and a renewed determination, humanity sets its sights on reclaiming their ancestral planet.

Three outposts have been established on the three islands of a small archipelago, each serving as a foothold in this grand mission. These islands, shrouded in mystery and teeming with evolved Pokémon, hold the key to humanity's future. As the first wave of brave explorers and researchers, you will uncover ancient secrets, face formidable Pokémon, and strive to restore the harmony that once existed between humans and Pokémon.

Embark on an epic journey to re-colonize Earth, navigate the challenges of a world transformed, and forge a new chapter in the enduring bond between humans and Pokémon. The fate of both species rests in your hands as you explore the unknown and reclaim your heritage.
"

Additional Information: Old gen Pokémon won't be available until they are transferred from the old games (in the lore, they are sent from home planet, where Pokémon, brought by humans, evolved in a more controlled way). Pokémon encountered are stronger and bigger on average, small species are either very small or bigger than modern insects (think of ancient insects, like Yanmega and Armaldo). We can have something similar to the UBs and link them with the third legendary, working like Alpha Pokémon, while also having most species inspired in some ways to the Natdex pokemon species.

The presence of Abyssorak has resulted in a perpetual giant whirlpool at the center of the three-islands, the Maelstrom of Depths, a powerful maelstrom that churns relentlessly, pulling in anything that ventures too close.

Story:
In the ancient past, when humans and Pokémon coexisted, Abyssorak was a guardian of the ocean's deepest secrets. Revered by coastal communities, it was believed to maintain the balance of the seas, ensuring that marine life flourished. However, as the centuries passed and Pokémon evolved, Abyssorak's power grew exponentially. Its serpentine body twists and coils through the sky, and its presence has caused a towering column of water at the center of the region that reaches up to the atmosphere. This phenomenon, known as the Pillar of Heaven, stands as a beacon of Seraphtalon's celestial power.

Story:
In the days of old, Seraphtalon was worshipped as a divine being, a bridge between the heavens and the Earth. Its duty was to regulate the flow of the elements, ensuring that the skies brought life-giving rain and the seas remained tranquil. As time progressed and Pokémon evolved, Seraphtalon's influence grew, culminating in the creation of the Pillar of Heaven, a monumental column of water that connects the ocean to the atmosphere."

To prevent the planet's destruction, Abyssorak and Seraphtalon joined forces to contain Nexulon. Their mission shifts from cataloging Pokémon to ensuring Nexulon remains contained, safeguarding the future of both humanity and Pokémon.

I'm thinking of a new type of Pokemon variants, the Biogress forms (bio+progress), that add a small amount to BST (max +40) and redistribute stats a bit, and are a biologically evolved form of an existing species of Pokemon. I don't think this should work as the generational gimmick, it could be something similar to Hisuian forms being treated like bosses, we can discuss it together. For the generational gimmick, if we will have any, I think I'll submit a mechanic that is activated on switchin, with the use of an held item, that turns the Pokémon into a UB, totally changing type and ability, and giving it a new stat distribution with a fixed BST (maybe 570 or 600). Making the item removable could be interesting if we give the form to any Pokémon, Trick, Switcheroo and other item-stealing mechanics would become relevant. For the gameplay, these can work as the Alpha Pokémon.

Name: Skaneya (From Skáney, the Old Norse name for Scandinavia, pronounced "SKA-nay-ah)
Inspiration: Denmark, Norway, and Sweden put together, along with Norse mythology and the Viking aesthetic in general

Lore:
This... is Skaneya. It's a week north of miserable, a few days' south of freezing to death, and located solidly in the longitude of languishment. In this realm of tundra, forests, meadows, mountains, and of course, cold northern seas, it snows nine months of the year, and rains the other three. The towns in this region are, to sum it up, sturdy. And the people living here have been around for countless generations, even if every building in every town is relatively new. There's fishing, hunting, and a charming view of the sunsets. The only problems are the pests...

Other places have Beedrill or Yungoose, but not this region. Its Pokémon are of a decidedly different stock. Harsher. Stronger. Deadlier...

Anything that grows here is tough and tasteless, and the people that grow here are even more so. They have to be. In this region, you have to be constantly vigilant, and prepared to expect the unexpected. There are modern cities to be found here, to be sure, but if you venture further afield, you can also find ancient sites with ruins and artifacts almost as old as the hills themselves, hidden amongst stretches of wilderness too perilous to brave without strong partners to watch your back at all times. And if you're lucky enough to survive, you might even find clues to the distant past of this region - and in particular, you could very well be the first to unravel the mystery behind two certain Pokémon that once called it home. Pokémon that were seen as gods by the seafaring civilization that first colonized Skaneya. Pokémon that could very well bring about the end of the world itself should their ire be stirred...

Additional Information: Because this region takes heavily from Norse mythology as well as and especially Viking culture, it would be nice if, should it be considered, any slates and submissions associated with it could put in the effort to research the history of the real-world places and peoples that inform it. Modern cities do exist here as well, but most of the rural towns would take after historical Scandinavian and Viking communities, though with modern amenities as warranted.

In homage to the Anglo-Scandinavian cultural intersections due to some of the Vikings making it to England, I imagine a number of Galarian influences would be involved as well, including a bunch of canon Pokémon originally introduced in Galar.

"According to legend, it supposedly appears only to those who are destined to die in glory. Collecting even one of its feathers is said to be an omen of both great fortune and impending doom."
"In ages past, it was said to have led a great army to victory against dark forces, but at great cost. The awe-inspiring gleam of its silver armor could inspire courage and frighten off evil spirits."

Universal regional TMs/Tutors + Charm, Agility, Protect, Acrobatics, Psybeam, Confuse Ray, Disarming Voice, Facade, Aerial Ace, Hex, Snarl, Metal Claw, Swift, Magical Leaf, Icy Wind, Low Sweep, Air Cutter, Stored Power, Night Shade, Fling, Endure, Snowscape, Smart Strike, Psyshock, False Swipe, Brick Break, Zen Headbutt, U-turn, Shadow Claw, Sacred Sword, Foul Play, Bulk Up, Air Slash, Body Slam, Ice Punch, Dragon Claw, Dazzling Gleam, Taunt, Swords Dance, Body Press, Imprison, Flash Cannon, Fly, Skill Swap, Iron Head, Iron Defense, X-Scissor, Aura Sphere, Tailwind, Shadow Ball, Hyper Voice, Psychic, Heavy Slam, Encore, Ice Spinner, Calm Mind, Baton Pass, Reversal, Ice Beam, Misty Terrain, Blizzard, Phantom Force, Focus Blast, Hurricane, Brave Bird, Close Combat, Steel Beam

Role:
What I had in mind for this Legendary was something that was predominantly defensive in nature, but in the sense of its typing and one of its abilities rather than just minmaxed stats, banking on the whopping nine resistances that Ghost/Steel possesses as well as a priority-negating ability, so as to provide plenty of opportunities for switching in and setting up with Swords Dance, Autotomize, Calm Mind, etc. Support options include the ever-useful Taunt, Baton Pass, and weather and terrain setup, as well as Imprison if you want to take a gamble against any incoming super-effective Ghost-type attacks, but one notable other move in this respect is Skill Swap. Divine Intervention isn't a bad ability by any means, but if you can swap it with an ability to either boost its offensive stats or debuff its opponent (e.g. Guts, Intimidate, Steely Spirit...), it may be worth doing so, especially if the opponent needs that same ability to actually function. If you were looking to use Vhallkyra offensively, Aegislash's Blade Form will obviously outclass it in that regard, but what Vhallkyra has which Aegislash doesn't is additional type coverage, including Flying, Psychic, Ice, Grass, Bug, and Fighting; Ghost and Fighting in particular have near-perfect neutral coverage, as Aegislash can tell you due to knowing Sacred Sword, too - although unlike Aegislash which gets Rock Slide and Head Smash, Valkyregent has no answers to Fire-type attacks at all, potentially leaving it in an awkward situation if it doesn't realize that its opponent is packing a Fire Blast until it's too late.

Design:
This rare but amazingly beautiful harpy-like creature has anatomy that's midway between humanoid and avian; its torso is anthropoid, slender, and upright, but its legs are three-toed, digitigrade, and avian with one huge, sharp talon facing back and the other two forward; it has arms instead of wings with hands that resemble its feet, and flies using a cape extending from its back and shoulders that looks like it's made of spectral, ghostly feathers, dark blue fading to indigo and then violet at the ends; it spreads the cape a la Batman when airborne. Bluish silver armor plating can be seen upon its breast, shoulders, waist and upper legs, and forearms, the rest of its body being a light purplish blue with black hands and feet and silver talons. Upon each gauntlet, close to the wrist, is a small knob which can project ghostly blue energy, allowing it to form a phantasmic wrist blade like a sword in one hand and a round shield in the other, though it can also use these knobs to fire blasts of this energy shaped like arrows to attack from a distance. Its neck and head are similar to those of Gardevoir, but the eyes are half-circular and glow a blinding white, trailing wisps of white light from them; the "helmet", meanwhile, is also made of silver armor, and looks like an eagle's head and beak, covering most of the face with the eyes set where a bird's eyes would normally be. The helmet also has two wing-like "ears" comprised of the same ghostly feathers as the cape, one on each side, and trailing from the back of it is a long, flowing, purple-to-magenta-to-scarlet wisp in a manner reminiscent of a ponytail. The shiny sprite has a light orange body in place of light blue, and the blue/indigo/violet of the cape/head wings and the purple/magenta/scarlet of the ponytail are reversed. The armor and talons, meanwhile, have a more brassy hue to them, reminiscent of tarnished silver.
This design is based on a valkyrie, female spirits from Norse mythology that were said to guide worthy souls to Odin's hall of Valhalla; the armor is silver because I couldn't think of any other metal-related word aside from argent that could form a decent pun with that word, although silver was historically said to ward off evil, and that combined with valkyries being servants of Odin himself hopefully justifies the ability to some extent. There honestly isn't that much more depth to this one but I originally submitted it to a different pet mod (it didn't win), but I figured it'd be a good shoe-in as a Legendary. The region itself being Scandinavia-inspired followed suit, and thus informed the new direction I took for the other mascot Legendary...
"According to legend, it mercilessly preys on the souls of those with darkness in their hearts. In battle, it would stand tall as a mountain to strike fear in its opponents, before savaging them with its deadly bite."
"It's said that this brutal Pokémon drinks the life force right out of its prey, allowing it to heal itself or unleash tremendous destructive power. In some myths, it devours its downed adversary in one gulp."

Name: Nidheleim (Nidhogg, Norse dragon of the underworld + Helheim, the realm of the damned)
Height: 12'2"
Weight: 350 lbs
Stats: 105 HP/105 ATK/120 DEF/145 SP ATK/120 SP DEF/75 SPD = 670
Typing: Dragon/Dark
Abilities: Dread Eater
If this Pokemon successfully uses a draining move on its opponent, the opponent's Atk and Sp Atk stats are harshly lowered.

Effect: Targets all enemies on the field. Up to 50% of the damage dealt to each target is restored to the user as HP (but not less than 1 HP), restoring up to the Pokémon's maximum HP.
Additional Notes: Does not make contact, draining move (will damage the user instead if any target has Liquid Ooze)
An attack that drains the life force of all targets. The user's HP is restored by up to half the damage taken by each target.

Universal TMs/Tutors + Fire Fang, Thunder Fang, Low Kick, Acid Spray, Charge Beam, Fire Spin, Poison Tail, Roar, Metal Claw, Draining Kiss, Flame Charge, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Low Sweep, Dragon Tail, Sunny Day, Rain Dance, Brick Break, Shadow Claw, Foul Play, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Electro Ball, Drain Punch, Dragon Claw, Flash Cannon, Thunder Wave, Stomping Tantrum, Taunt, Body Press, Dark Pulse, Eerie Impulse, Gunk Shot, Will-O-Wisp, Heat Wave, Thunderbolt, Earth Power, Sludge Wave, Earthquake, Thunder, Solar Beam, Draco Meteor

Role:
Wherever Nidheleim goes, destruction and chaos are certain to follow. This hulking beast is quite slow, sure, but why outrun your foes when nuking them from afar works just as well? Few are the special Dark-type moves out there, but they're far from useless in this case, especially with that frankly ridiculous Special Attack stat. Your best bets at Dark STAB are Night Daze for the accuracy drop and Dark Pulse for the sake of reliability. Dragon STAB of course comes in the form of Draco Meteor, but if you want something without recoil, its signature move, Ravaging Vortex, is a decent standby as well, especially when paired with its unique ability - the more strength it leeches from its opposition, the weaker its foes become! Coverage includes Fire, Electric, Grass, Poison, and Ground-type moves of various effectiveness, and you can certainly run either Fire Blast or Sludge Wave as an insurance measure against Fairy-types which are resistant at the minimum to both STAB options, along with surprising Ice-types with the former if it can get the drop on them. Its slow speed, high defense and rather decent special defense (Fairy-types notwithstanding) also allow for an easier time wading through enemy fire, though if it absolutely needs to heal up, it's important to remember that Draining Kiss is a special attack, making it more viable than Drain Punch despite lacking STAB, though Giga Drain isn't a bad idea either if you find yourself up against something weak to Grass. Be aware though that its Speed and physical Attack are basically its dump stats, which can come back to bite it in the tail if it isn't careful - that double-weakness to Fairy is no fun at all.

Design:
A vicious, brutal reptilian Pokémon with a somewhat Gen-I feel to it, this predatory beast looks like a cross between a vintage carnivorous tail-dragging theropod, a monitor lizard, and a Scandinavian dragon like you'd find on the front of a Viking longship. It has a relatively long yet thick torso and an even longer tapering tail, its large hind legs and its smaller grasping arms both resembling Charizard's, with three claws each; it can move on either four legs or two depending on which works better, looking for all the world like a colossal, monstrous serpent with arms and legs. When reared up, it drags its tail along the ground while holding its spine diagonally, retrosaur-style. It has a medium-length, serpentine but muscular neck and a large head with huge and powerful, beaked jaws full of fangs, somewhat resembling that of Aerodactyl but with a shorter, broader snout and two large saber fangs on the upper jaw that remain visible when the mouth is shut. Its horns are shaped like those of Tauros, and are set on a dome-shaped headplate suggesting an erroneously horned pop-culture Viking helmet. Patches of large, diamond-shaped, overlapping scales are visible upon its sides, neck, and upper limbs, but the belly is ridged like Dragonite's, while the upper surface sports a row of segmented armor plates all the way down the neck, back, and tail as well as plates like pauldrons on each shoulder with horns of their own like on the head. It also has a row of jagged maple-leaf fins like Gyarados running down the back from the forehead to just after the shoulders, and a matching fin on the end of the tail; smaller fins are also visible on the sides of its forearms and on either side of its head like frilly ears. These fins glow a brilliant purple, Godzilla-style, as it uses its special attacks, implying that it channels its power through it. It is primarily dark bluish gray in color with brass-colored armor, and its belly and lower jaw are light gray, while its fins are the same red shade as on Charmeleon's body but tipped with brick red; the shiny inverses this by having red scales along with brick-red armor and light orange belly/jaw, but dark blue fur tufts tipped with black. For both color palettes, the eyes are a fierce lime green with vertical slits for pupils, its teeth, horns, and talons are a very light gray, and its snakey forked tongue is a dull pink.
This design is modified from another entry I subbed to the same mod that its version counterpart made its debut in, and was originally based on the Azhdaha, a dragon from Persian mythology which is said to be vicious and destructive like a European dragon, but has an appearance more an Asian dragon. As the prompt for the slate it was subbed to was for a Fighting-type special attacker, I referenced the Iranian form of wrestling to inform the overall design, as it is heavily ritualized and based largely on display with body contact being done only in the climactic match. Its being either quadrupedal or bipedal as it sees fit is also based on monitor lizards (whose generic name Varanus is derived from the Arabic waral, meaning "lizard beast") rearing up on their hind legs, as well as fighting like wrestlers when they clash over mates and territory. I decided not to reinvent the wheel role-wise when bringing it over to this submission, as a special attacker made a good contrast to Vhallkyra being more physically inclined, but I did have to make the basis completely different, so I went instead with Nidhogg from Norse myth and leaned into his habit of eating the souls of the damned rather than his more well-known shtick of chewing the roots of the world tree Yggdrasil. Since the special attacker role translated into breath weapon spam, it only made sense for me to toss in some influence from Godzilla and his many imitators as well - I imagine this Legendary lurking deep underground when dormant, only to awake once in a (very long) while when it has to feed, devastating the very land itself as it does.

I'm not sure yet what to do for the gimmick for this region, but I'll wait on confirmation as to whether that'll be decided in another slate or if I have to sub the suggestion for it along with the region sub itself. Any mods who can clarify on this, please let me know ASAP!

Right, nine regions so far, I'm holding out on hope that we could get a couple more before we get to decide on our geography.
To anyone asking about gimmicks, while they are in the next/second slate, if you choose to brainstorm them now they will be treated as the other option aside from "No Generational Gimmick" in the poll of our second slate if your region wins. And just to put it out there to everyone, we are carrying over changes and additions introduced in all of the Gen X regions - Brazdo, Loria and Desvega.
[Update 1], as evident by potential issues in one of the listed subs (redwoodrogue's Box-art), I have included updated templates for moves and Ability for a reason. Please use them, for sake of the coding team convienence.

Anyways, there are a couple regions or box-arts that are breaking the rules or potentially being uncodable, and thus disqualifying them to be voted upon when the time comes. I'm gonna give you a chance to make adjustments, take it.
Name: Yuugen
Inspiration: ancient japan, the periods before feudal japan which is where pokemon conquest and pokemon legends arceus take place so around 538-1185ad
As listed in the rules, there are certain locales that are off-limits, Japan being one if them. I was tempted to let this slide since you used the "Legends" loophole until I double-checked on the area where Yuugen here is based on, which turns out to be overlapping in Kanto, Johto and Hoenn. If you're really stubborn with going through with Yuugen, relocate it to an area of Japan that hasn't been Poke-fied yet. [Update, while Yuugen's new location in the Tohoku region does potentially overlap with Kitakami, Kitakami is small enough that I'm willing to overlook it for eligibility. The fact that Kitakami could be part of Yuugen, however, will be important and be remembered]

By default, the base form's BST has to be within 660-680 range, and the alternate form can have up to a 100 increase in their BST. Syrpsaira and Dhiirojual have apparently done this the other way around. [Update, BST has since been modified, Syrpsaira and Dhiirojual are now eligible to mingle in Singles.]

This is my Roman Empire

: When this Pokémon defeats another Pokémon, that Pokémon’s ability becomes a part of the Mind Reaper ability until this Pokémon switches out or faints.
The current effect of Mind Reaper, according to the coding team, is apparently impossible to be coded. Unless you're willing to code it yourself, you have to give Aulbaltus's Future Form a new ability. [Update 2, some people have suggested that Mind Reaper can be coded. You are in the clear]

I have now recovered from death by laughter due to the discovery of yet another ingenious loophole. While I would be more comfortable if Scalmoneye and Restockeye being the split evos of Smallmon, it is technically legal in terms of bst and stat distribution. The Ability part does give me pause: please confirm, through an edit in your region, that my understanding of the effects of all three are correct:
Smallfry: Speed is raised by one stage when the Pokémon is hit by a Bug-type, Ghost-type or Dark-type move or is Intimidated. Additionally, when the Pokemon switches out, it restores 33% of the Pokémon's maximum HP.
Flaming Scales: The Pokemon is immune to Fire-type moves. Upon being hit by one, its own Fire-type moves are boosted by 50%. Additionally, when the Pokemon switches out, it restores 33% of the Pokémon's maximum HP.
Burial Grounds: The Pokemon's moves are boosted by 30%, but it loses 1/10th of its max. HP upon the successful execution of one. Additionally, when the Pokemon switches out, it restores 33% of the Pokémon's maximum HP.

Keep slating your regions - I'll like to see it that the amount of regions that are eligible to be voted be in at least the double digits.

Hopefully the third time’s the charm.

Name: Brunica (Brunician for regional prefix)
Inspiration: Canada but especially New Brunswick, with a few parts from Ontario and Vancouver (metropolis), and have the ocean side, the cold climate (colder and harsher winter than their American neighbor), interest on winter sports and the variety of environments. Also have an emphasis on solidarity between the communities.
View attachment 522185
New-Brunswick Map
Lore: The Brunica region was largely unknown in the Pokémon world, does to it's uncharted territories and the attention given to Unova, it's nearby neighbor region. However, for it's relatively small size, it does have a lush, lively environment full of lives, under the guard of Lutakon. Unfortunately, the region is in constant risk of being overrun by the two dangerous Legendary Pokémon, Akhut (dweller of dry lands and the sea) and Wendora (dweller of tundras and the North Pole), forcing Lutakon to seal itself by releasing a calming aura that even Akhut and Wendora calms down for centuries.
  • Mammals: Moose, Raccoon, American Pika, Lynx, Wolverine, Black Bear, Musk Ox, Snowshoe Hare and Snow Rabbit, Arctic Wolf,
  • Birds: Blue Jay, Hawk Owl, Cardinal, Finch
  • Reptiles: Skink, Timber Rattlesnake, Short-Horned Lizard, Painted Turtle, Leatherback Sea Turtle
  • Plants: Tomato, Mountain Aven, Fireweed, Purple Saxifrage, Sugar Maple, Spruce, Balsam Fir
  • Intervertebral: Dragonflies (Common Whitetail or Chalk-Fronted Corporal), American Dog Tick, Crab Spider, Long Legged Fly, Scorpionfly, Twin Stabbed Lady Beetle
  • Aquatic: Atlantic Sturgeon (fish), Fallfish, Brook Stickleback, Lake Trout, Leech, Torpedo Ray, Blue Angels (Glaucus atlanticus)
  • Mythical Critters: Lake monsters (yes, there is a lot of them considering the amount of lakes in Canada), Mishepishu, Kogukhpuk, loup-garou (Werewolves and wereanimals, but with human conscience).
  • Activities: Curling, Hockey, Skiing/Sledding, Snow/Ice Sculpture, Camping, Gardening, Hiking, Festivals, Whale Watching, Water Sliding, Farmer Markets, Canoe / Kayaking, Swimming, Zipline, Dancing
  • Well Known Meals: Poutine rapée (large patato dumpling with pork filling), chicken fricot, chiard (patato dish heated on a casserole), fried clams, Coquille Saint-Jacques, Pets de Soeur (desserts similar to cinnamon buns), ployes (wheathart pancake)
  • Miscellaneous Emphasis: Ancestry, family, solidarity / cooperation, vareity of cultures from other regions, countries and continent, art, forests, mountains, beaches, conflict, cold winter but also hot summer, unpredictable weathers in general
Examples of Returning Pokémon: Bidoof line, Shinx line, Delibird, Deerling line, Volbeat + Illumise, Zangoose + Seviper, Kricketot line, Cutiefly line, Hoothoot line, Ledyba line, Emolga, Skunky line, Teddiursa line, Cubchoo line, Seel line, Rufflet line, Sneasel line, Sunkern line, etc.

Legendary Trio: Elders of Nature
Name: Akulut (Aku + corruption of Akhlut)
Counterpart(s): Wendora (Main counterpart) and Lutakon (Third)
Typing:

Ability: Darkest Hunger
Base Stats: 100 HP / 133 Atk / 133 Def / 102 SpA / 102 SpD / 110 Speed (BST: 680)
Notable Moves: Cruel Strike (New), Crunch, Knock Off, Aqua Jet, Swords Dance, Leech Life, Taunt, Torment, Snarl, Roar, Iron Head, Outrage, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Fire Fang, Close Combat, Earthquake, Waterfall, Liquidation, Pursuit, Psycho Cut, Rock Slide, Power Trip, Dark Pulse, Lash Out
Flavor Moves: Water Gun, Aqua Tail, Bite, Water Pulse, Thief, Fling, Mega Kick, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Surf, Hydro Pump, Dark Pulse, Snarl
New Features:
Darkest Hunger (Ability - Knocking out a target have this Pokémon‘s HP recovered by 12,5%)
Cruel Strike (Move - Dark - Physical - 120 Base Power - 100 Accuracy - 8 PP - Contact - Decrease target’s Defense by 1 stage; this move only works on user’s first turn out)
Flavour/Design: Heavily based of the Akhlut, a wolf-orca hybrid mythical creature that dwells in the land and beaches. Despite what the people of Brunica region were saying it was a necessary evil to control overpopulating humanity and Pokémon, Akhlut aim to eradicate and devour every single living being of the land as it despises presence of everything softer than it. While often busy confronting Wendora, it was singlehandedly responsible for several Pokémon becoming extinct a very long time ago. Dark red and white color scheme.
Potential Competitive Role: As there isn't any Uber-leveled Water-type or Dark-type Pokémon known for physical prowess, Akulut will fill this gap. Although basic at first, Cruel Strike is an exceptionally powerful Dark-type move that punishes switch-ins, or it can use Pursuit to chase down Lugia and non-Mega Mewtwo. Having 110 Speed is higher than average, allowing to use Choice Scarf to revenge kill, or equip a Life Orb to enhance their physical prowess further without worry of HP draining thanks to Evil Devourer. In short, a Water/Dark type physical wallbreaker, sweeper or Psychic/Ghost trapper.
Name: Wendora (Wendigo + Pandora)
Counterpart(s): Akulut (Main counterpart) and Lutakon (Third)
Typing:

Ability: Coldest Heart
Base Stats: 90 HP / 102 Atk / 90 Def / 134 SpA / 130 SpD / 124 Speed (BST: 680)
Notable Moves: Icy End (New), Crunch, Knock Off, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Freeze-Dry, Hail, Aurora Veil, Ice Shard, Poltergeist, Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Icy Wind, Nasty Plot, Thunderbolt, Mythical Fire, Snarl, Dark Pulse, Psychic, Psyshock, Moonblast, Earth Power, Focus Blast, Taunt
Flavor Moves: Astonish, Snow Powder, Phantom Force, Power Swap, Guard Swap, Speed Swap, Water Pulse, Gust
New Features:
Coldest Heart (Ability - Reduce Speed of opposing Pokémon upon switching in)
Icy End (Move - Ice - Special - 25 Base Power - 100 Accuracy - 8 PP - No Contact - +1 Priority; Base Power is tripled if the target’s HP is less than 50%)
Flavour/Design: The Wendigo is one of Canada's most famous mythical creatures, so you would know what one would looks like. Barely humanoid, it bends forwards with a skeleton-like disposure that reveals icicles letting out of it's corpse-like body, with messed up horns sprouting out of it's forehead. A malevolent Legendary Pokémon of Brunica, it thrives to bring eternal suffering to all of the region by turning it into an unlivable icy palace for it to live in, and devour anything that tries to survive in such a cruel environment. Although it made conflicts with Akalut, it oftentimes lives in the coldest tundra that not even the bravest Trainer dared to explore before.
Potential Competitive Role: Another new Legendary that many Psychic-type will despise to confront, and both it’s Icy End move and it’s Coldest Heart Ability allows it to revenge kill anything wearing a Choice Scarf, with the former being 75 BP priority against foes with lower than 50% of max HP. Coldest Heart in general will mess with speedy Ubers Pokémon, including the mighty Mega Rayquaza in AG of NatDex, allowing for smooth revenge killing. Being immune of Extreme Speed also helps, but it have to watch for Marshadow that have Shadow Sneak. Frailness in general is it’s biggest weakness, as such it cannot afford to manually switch in at all unless through pivoting, and Ice-type related weaknesses doesn’t help, wanting to run Heavy-Duty Boots to avoid painful Stealth Rock damage.
Name: Lutakon
Counterpart(s): Akulut and Wendora (nemesis)
Forms: Resting (default), Awakened (hold the Awakening Seed)
Typing:

Ability: Guardian of Nature
Base Stats:
[Resting] 100 HP / 120 Atk / 90 Def / 120 SpA / 130 SpD / 90 Speed (BST: 670)
[Awakened] 100 HP / 150 Atk / 150 Def / 150 SpA / 150 SpD / 70 Spe (BST: 770)
Notable Moves: Gaia Recovery (New), Earthquake, Earth Power, Solar Beam, Solar Blade, Leaf Storm, Leaf Blade, Grassy Glide, Dazzling Gleam, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Brick Break, Focus Blast, Giga Drain, Calm Mind, Rest, Zen Headbutt, Iron Head, Growth, Thunder Punch, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Aromatherapy, Recover, Synthesis, Wood Hammer, Heal Pulse, Swords Dance, Bulk Up, Psychic, Flash Cannon, Leech Seed, Stun Spore, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, Heat Wave
Flavor Moves: Absorb, Mega Absorb, Sand Attack, Mud Slap, Grassy Terrain, Fairy Wind, Gust, Icy Wind
New Features:
Guardian of Nature (Ability - Summon a special Grassy Terrain on switch-in called Nature Field. Nature Field lasts as long as the wielder is active, and Nature Field reduce damage of Ghost, Water, Ice and Dark by 30%. This terrain cannot be overriden by other terrains.)
Gaia Recovery (Move - Grass - Status - Self - 8 PP - Recover HP by 50% while increasing Attack and Special Attack by 1 stage each - exclusive to Awakened Lutakon that have Synthesis; that move is replaced by Gaia Recovery under Awakened form and turns back to Synthesis when back to Resting form).
Flavour/Design: Combines aspect of a lutin (gnome) and a variety of elder trees (including the mythical Yggdrasil). The Resting form is surprisingly small, looking like a small but stout tree having resemblance to a gnome. The Awakened form is much more fierce, larger and magnificent looking, with a colorful array of different leaves and green "Tron lines" that energizes up when about to attack or use a recovery move. The Awakened form have multiple arms, referring that a tree have multiple branches, not just two.
Potential Competitive Role: Decided to go a little unorthodox; a pure Grass-type Legendary sounds bad on Ubers, but it have an unique Ability that grants it passive healing and weaken it’s Ice weakness while also being able to handle a myriad of Water-type Ubers like Choice Scarf Kyogre without worry too much of getting hit by Ice Beam. The Awakened Form is especially threatening, having access to a recovery move that also boosts both it's Attack and Special Attack in additional of huge but well rounded bulk, and no one knows if it would be a physical, special or even mixed attacker! It's slow Speed would gives it grievance when facing similarly bulky opponents and wallbreakers, and Bug-type Ubers do exists, meaning that Pheromosa and Genesect may have a niche to counter it.

Possible Gimmick: Specialized Type
Through the Soul Gem of matching type, the Pokémon can get an additional benefit that combines an additional Ability, move depending on higher Attack or Special Attack, and immunity to or ignorance of something (never to a type). A few type grants more than one immunity, or get a more impactful one, to compensate their less than ideal type.

Activated as soon as switching in before hazards takes effect, and lasts until the holder faints. The Soul Gem cannot be interacted through move nor Abilities; it cannot be Knocked Off, for example. Only one Specialized Pokémon per team in one battle, though the team can hold multiple; if the Specialized Pokémon of the team faints, another of the same team cannot be Specialized. Moves given through the Soul Gem have only 5 PPs (as if acquired through Transform or Imposter), discouraging spamming and encouraging strategic use of the move. If holder already have the move, then the Extra Move won’t be given, but other mechanics will work fine.

Lorewise, the Soul Gems were the spirit of the Pokémon that went rogue and turned against their own Trainers before being vanquished, with their spirit slowly but surely purified once sealed in the gems. In ancient time, they were used to help villagers from dealing with strong wild Pokémon and invaders alike.

Additionally, if a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon, or another special kind of Pokémon (Ultra Beast, Paradox, possibly a new one) uses a Soul Gem, they will only get the new move. This is a “safety net” to prevent them from dominating even more than before in both 6v6 Singles and 4v4 VGC formats. The lore reason for this is due to their immense power lore-wise, even of the “lesser” ones, is preventing them from using the Soul Gems at full potential without risking of shattering the Soul Gems, permanently fleeing the spirit and rendering them unusable afterward.

Both Silvally and Arceus are exceptions of the safety net, both gameplay and lore-wise; Arceus is an exception partly thanks to it’s omnipotence, being the creator and all, and the resemblance to the Plates, while Silvally‘s RKS System allows it to circumvent this limit without breaking the held Soul Gem. Both even benefit of changing their type to the Soul Gem of that respective type, making them potential potent threats in tiers where they are allowed in.

Work!
Name: Staulo
Inspiration: British Columbia, Canada
Lore: The largest city in Staulo, Vanver, was originally a colony of the Unova region. However, as people began exploring the area, they started noticing the vast landscape and all it could provide. The region got its name from the Staulo river, which flows throughout the region and acts as a major transportation method for trainers navigating the region. The river is blessed by a trio of fish-like Pokemon that have given the river a life-giving mythology.
Additional Information: Despite only being a small part of a real world country, the province includes virtually every biome (arid deserts, rainforests, beaches, tundras and everything in-between. So it opens up for a lot of possibilities on where different creatures could live. It's the one part of Canada that isn't always cold!

Name: Smallmon [small+salmon]
Counterpart(s): you'll see...
Typing: Water/Normal
Abilities: Smallfry [Effects Rattled + Regenerator]
Base Stats: 50 HP / 55 Atk / 65 Def / 85 SpA / 65 SpD / 90 Spe [410 BST]
Notable Moves: Surf, Hydro Pump, Flip Turn, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Encore, Parting Shot, Scald, Recover, Rapid Spin
Flavor/Design (Required): The trio of fish has an LC-viable form as part of it, as the trio is based on both Indigenous systems of aging as well as the life cycle of salmon. For the purposes of following the BST rules, there is still a duo that will follow the BST guidelines. It is born in the river and, as it grows, it eventually makes it to the ocean.
Potential Competitive Role (Optional): LC-viable legendary. Eat your heart out Nebby.

Name: Scalmoneye [scale + salmon + sockeye]]
Counterpart(s): Restockeye
Typing: Water/Fire
Abilities: Flaming Scales [effects of Flash Fire + Regenerator]
Base Stats: 60 HP / 130 Atk / 100 Def / 130 SpA / 100 SpD / 140 Spe (660 BST)
Notable Moves: Above + Scale Shot, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Overheat, Will-o-Wisp, Wave Crash, Ocean Song*
Ocean Song: Water-type Giga Drain. Sound move.
Flavor/Design (Required): The middle stage of the evolution line. It is the fastest fish in the oceans, though it seemingly acts like its on a clock, aware of its mortality. It will return back to the river as it ages. It sings a beautiful song that matches its graceful swimming.
Potential Competitive Role (Optional): So this is a 660 BST mon that can hold Eviolite... Though it can't hold boots at the same time.

Name: Restockeye [restock + sockeye]
Counterpart(s): Scalmoneye
Typing: Water/Ghost
Abilities: Burial Grounds [effects of Life Orb + Regenerator]
Base Stats: 140 HP / 130 Atk / 100 Def / 130 SpA / 100 SpD / 80 Spe (680 BST)
Notable Moves: Above + Last Respects, Strength Sap, Shadow Ball, Jaw Lock, Crunch, Ice Fang, Psychic Fangs, Shadow Fang*
Shadow Fang: Ghost-type Horn Leech with 85 BP. Biting move.
Flavor/Design (Required): Having reached the end of its life cycle, it returns back to the river to offer its life, providing nutrients and creating new Smallmon in the process. It grows a hooked jaw to dig its resting place in the riverbed.
Potential Competitive Role (Optional): Better Basculegion for Ubers

edit: yes you're understanding the abilities right.

Well, we hit the double digits on amount of eligibility, I'm starting the countdown.
You have 72 hours starting from this post before the poll for our region and box art will be posted.
Please ensure that your regions are posted and, preferably, any new features associated with them are written using the Move | Ability templates provided on the first post of page 22, and for the few who have issues listed in my previous post to fully amend them.
As mentioned, if you choose to include a possible gimmick, it will be the default option aside from "No Generational Gimmick" on the following poll.
If you are unsure whether your region and/or your box-arts are eligible, message me either through a Smogon DM or on the discord.
