EVOS FOR EVERYONE
Hello, and welcome to Evos for Everyone, the Pet Mod where the goal is to give every single-stage pokemon an evolution to call it's own! This will include 2 main ways to submit an evolution, so here they are:
Normal Evolution: This is your typical evolution, which will make up the majority of pokemon submitted. Ability limits are set in the slate. (More details below.) One type can be added for this evolution, whether it replaces the former pokemon's secondary type or adds a new secondary. The number of movepool additions allowed is different for each pokemon, and will be mentioned in the Slate. It is your choice whether to this a split or single evolution, but some pokemon will be required to be either single or split.
Split Evolution: This is a subcategory of Normal Evolution for Split evolution. This evolution is very similar to the above, but you must make 2 evolutions for the slated pokemon. This time, the first evolution follows the same rules for type changes as a Normal Evolution, but the split evolution can change it's type as long as it shares one type with the slated pokemon. It's encouraged to make the two evolutions very different from each other, to allow for different experiences. Movepool additions will be the same number for both evolutions.
Legendary Prevolution: This is a prevolution for a legendary pokemon, designed for the LC metagame! There are different rules here, so pay attention. You can not change the Legendary's type unless you take away the secondary. You can only give the prevo the Legendary's ability if it isn't broken in LC. This mostly relies on your own judgement, so try not to go overboard.
The current policy on Custom Moves is that they can only be clones of existing moves with a secondary effect or flag added. (The secondary effect or flag is not required.)
Here are the Showdown! ability rankings. A * means you can make a clone of it it with the same ranking. Note that completely custom abilities are allowed, but again, try not to make it too much better than the chosen ranking for the slated pokemon.

As a last note, I'm not going to limit how Stats are gained on evolution, but try to keep it from becoming too good. The evolutions are to be designed for OU. (Unless the pokemon is already in OU. In that case, you can design for Ubers.)
